Sister Evans

Meet Elise. Isn't she darling? I dare say this session is one of my favorite missionary shoots to date. When Elise walked up wearing that classy, timeless navy dress, I knew it was going to be a good one.  ;)  And just as I thought, it was an absolute pleasure working with this sweet (and hilarious) girl. Completely easy going, fun and photogenic, Elise made my job a breeze. Not to mention the evening was simply gorgeous and we couldn't have asked for better weather.  Plus Elise's Mom came along and I really, really adore her Mom.  Caroline (Mom) and Elise brought some darling props to give character to our session and the Mt. Timpanogos Temple was the perfect setting to document Elise's upcoming adventure of serving a full time mission in the Chesapeake, Virginia Mission.

I'll be honest, I can hardly believe how grown up Elise is. I first met Elise when my family and I moved in to our current home.  She was only about 12 years old and just a young girl. But here she is now, a wonderful grown woman, ready to go out and serve the Lord and the people of Virginia on her mission. She will be a wonderful missionary and will be a blessing in the lives of many.  Even though I know her Mom will miss her dearly.

All the best to you, Sister Evans!

One Beautiful Family.

Meet the Heningers. Aren't they darling? Yes. Yes, they are. I've known Ilene (the beautiful Mama with the rockin' hair do) for many years now! We lived in the same neighborhood, years ago, when our little city was just putting down roots. My family and I have since moved from that neighborhood to another one in the same area, so it's been quite a long time since we've seen each other in person. Much too long! I was so happy when Ilene contacted me about doing this session. The last time I saw her (older) kids they were quite young, and I had never even met her youngest, Jack (who, by the way, was a total riot). It was so much fun to see how the kids have grown and get to know them and their cute personalities.

After our first scheduled session had to be cancelled because of rain and yucky weather, we were all relieved to have good enough weather to make the second date work. I love how green the location was and their color scheme of green and navy couldn't have been more perfect!  Just love how this session turned out.
Thanks again for having me, Heninger Family. You are fabulous!
